Looks like the legal victories are beginning to coming in.

However, I have been told by a doctor that everyone now is infected. One can get long covid from casual, non-touching contact with a vaxxed person. Arrggh.

You have heard it. The doctors are grappling with what is going on with the “v***ne.” The news is very very serious. What if the doomsday scenario is true? What if a massive die-off is exactly what was intended?

As a mother and grandmother, I am concerned. As a minister and educator, I am going to address the situation for everyone with logic, reason, and the Bible. What if… what if the worst case scenario? But what is the best case scenario. Let’s go down the decision tree. I think you will be comforted. You will have some peace.

Obviously, the “conventional” view is different, and not surprisingly, you can find someone to denigrate these doctors. You decide. My episode is not asserting expertise in microbiology, epidemiology, etc.

Dr. Andrew Wakefield is NOT discredited. He was attacked, but eventually prevailed. He was undeniably a world class researcher, collaborated with others, and was published in many peer review journals in many countries. He listened to parents of children who claimed that their children had autism symptoms after being vaccinated, and then raised questions about safety and was attacked, viciously. Even after being exonerated, he is still maligned and lied about. Just do a search. He gave Great Shalom an interview in 2009. http://biz201.inmotionhosting.com/~greats24/?s=Wakefield Privately, he was very hurt. He just couldn’t understand the persecution. Listen to the interview. He is so reasonable! Does that sound like a wild-eyed crazy man? Or a researcher? I think it is obvious to any reasonable person that *he* is not the one who is hurting children. Others, push vaccines, without safety testing and make money out of it. Lots of money. Who will you believe?

Sharon, why would you give a link to a website opposing someone whom you think is credible. Because I think it is clear what is true. Because, unlike so many,they did give real quotes. 1) How likely would it be that a world class researcher would start putting out lies? 2) How likely would it be that asking about safety of children means that he hurt children? 3) How likely is it that a research doctor started a movement? When he stopped both teaching and seeing patients while he was attacked. When it is hard to get a new quote from him. Notice, the phenomenon of projection, meaning accusing someone else of doing exactly what you are doing/feeling etc. Did you see the clip of Mitt Romney being booed mercilessly at the GOP convention in Utah? And he asks them if they are embarrassed. Who should be embarrassed. This projection phenom seems to be going on a lot in politics these days! But here, who is more likely to have hurt children: a research doctor asking questions about safety or 2) Big pharma pushing vaccines like they were going out of style. Notice, too, that we can deliver medicines without painful needles. Gotta think about it.

Question about Salvation and the “V****”

BTW, Kevin Zadai, who claims to have been to heaven, says that no one can be saved unless they have 100% human DNA. He cites the genealogies of the Bible and the stories about interspecies copulation in Genesis 6:2 being consider bad. As is common, he considers this verse to mean that fallen angels interbred with human women, and that the race of giants results. We are hearing a lot about sensory integration problems and the discipline that is handling sensory integration problems most is Occupational Therapy. It may seem strange to have children going to occupational therapy, but Nikki will explain to us that this is about the normal tasks that occupy a persons time. LOL Anyway, here is a brief introduction, from 2010, to OT for sensory integration.

We loved Nikki, who was a graduate of Baylor and a member of what was then the fastest growing church in Austin. She worked for Milestones, but has moved away since then. However, some of what she said, related to 2010 is exactly what needs to be considered today in 2021, that we can not speak about. you will hear it, carefully said, and you will know.

WHAT I DO

From my doctor mom and preschool educator perspective lots of sensory experiences, at the child’s level is a great idea. Dr. Montessori based much of her work on sensory education. Children’s task in the first years is to explore their environment, but modern environments are often too restrictive. For instance, a child can investigate a crib or a playpen only so much. They want to feel the carpet and the grass. They wan to bang the pots and the cabinet doors. They want to feel the difference between the velvet cushion and the satin one. The Montessori classroom offers these experiences in an organized manner. Also, as a grandmother of children who had problems, I offered a lot of swinging, rocking, and dancing to one child. Another needed extra time to draw circles and boxes and learn how to use a pencil. As an educator, I have seen children with differing problems. Some great OTs really helped families who were mystified about their children’s troubles.

Dr. Swank Overcomes Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities with Individualized Approach

Dr. Linda Swank argues for the individual approach in overcoming dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Back in 2009, Dr. Swank of the Swank Enrichment Center in Austin on Bee Caves Road shares with us how they help children with academic problems, especially “dyslexia.” With her PhD in speech and language as a grounding, she developed a unique approach to helping children. Rather than rely on statistical testing and labeling, they work individually with the child and parents. The individualized approach avoids the labeling. It avoids the varieties of definitional problems that “dyslexia” presents. It avoids the denominationalism that special educators and doctors and therapists find themselves in. It addresses the presenting academic problems. Many have overcome their problems with the center’s approach.

While her methods may be controversial, I would say the proof is in the pudding. Her method is much in contrast to what the public schools do and much in contrast to what the College of Education at The University of Texas now teaches about dyslexia. However, the Swank Center has been in Austin for decades and has helped many children and worried parents. There is little value, in my view, in building a “dyslexia orthodoxy.” Rather, helping individual children is out aim. Differing approaches should be very much welcomed, in my view, in order that more children might be helped, after finding the right approach for them.

He was a dramatically respected world class researcher before he ran aground of pharmaceutical companies’ profiteering. The center he founded in Austin lives on, as does he, entirely exonerated, if bewildered at the persecution. Listen to our interview of him, and consider for yourself if he seems like a decent level headed scientist… or something else.
