I have heard it said that as many of 90% of parents reported that they were likely to get the covid jab for their children, while only less than 10% did because of the truth getting out.

Without the brave truthtelling of people like this, it is very likely that a a whole generation of children would have been jabbed, thereby some dying and most others having their fertility stolen. Our society likely would have collapsed. Most of the heroes in this story never set out to be heroes. Mostly, it was forced upon them and they simply chose to do the right thing, following the morals of their faith and the ethics of their profession. The question is why so many failed. Thank God, in the highest, that some did not.

Pastor Nathan Brown, lead pastor at Vintage Church Liberty Hill, does a great job of explaining the roots of what made American great: Biblical literacy. Literacy and Bible were inseparable. Character and civics were inseparable.

A father today, he show the way to lead and educate children. You gotta listen!

Sunday School is not enough. Most Christian schools are not enough. We do know what works. It worked in the founding of our nation. Since then, it has been intentionally covered up; we are a nation ignorant of history and of the Bible. No wonder we are sliding into oblivion in terms of academic achievement. Pastor Nate calls is “catastrophic.” It is.

WHAT?!?! Do we not have an agreement of a fundamental right to rear and educate our own children? If not, then we need another American Revolution, rooted in the same Bible principles.
Right to conscience. The Bible tasks parents and never government with care and education of children. See Deuteronomy 6.

Further, I thought we were coming to a consensus that government run education was so bad that we need to consider replacing or dismantling it. We have ever lowering academic achievement and ever rising safety problems. Now, safety problems at the root of life and mental health that are a result of actual policy.

Parents, exit. Churches, help those who can not fully bear the burden of homeschooling, whether because they are single, they are sick, or they are poor.

Parents Teaching Civics?

Is it a good idea that parents teach civics? Shouldn’t that be done by professionals? How is that working out for you?
Deuteronomy 6 tasks parents with education. Even if you hire a private school or send your child to governments schools, still, in the end a parent is responsible.
So, do we teach civics? Meaning … the knowledge and training how to contribute to the common good by properly interfacing with the government.
Let’s consider that. What would civics consist in? The small child might have to share responsibility to clean up shared space. The moppet may learn to enforce non-bullying on his playground. The “junior higher” may learn about governmental affairs by participating in an ordered voluntary association, as perhaps a club with officers. The “high schooler” may be trying out her speaking ability, promoting some measure at city council to restrain government. We all had best be continuing to learn about history and governmental philosophy.

Today, we take one episode from our Manner product to consider civics:
that we must teach it,
that parents should be involved in being sure it is taught and properly,
and consider what might best be taught.
