School Choice aka Vouchers aka State Control part 2

Second on our school choice/ vouchers program.

Today, we related what Alex Newman exposed: that the United Nations promotes the use of taxpayer money in order to control education. Home schooling is out from under government control — at least in Texas.  To counteract that, the plan, according to Newman, Iserbyt and others, is to lure people into accepting government money.  Self-interest, right?

But then under the reasonable claim of need for accountability, the government will want to surveil and then control home education.

People say “we should get our money back.”  Yes, it would be great if the whole pie were divided by number of children and each respective set of parents could use that money as they saw fit. No one is contemplating that. Instead, out of a big budget, of say $10K per child, they will “give back” something like $1K (helpful maybe but not enough for public school). Who keeps the $9K?

You may get the exact words of Newman and others by using the signup form to the right. Get the whole book Shekels to Shackles. Next, another state’s experience with ESA savings accounts.

School Choice Right Now Voted on in Texas

School choice is once again being pushed by a governor. Having failed numerous times in the states I follow, it is once again being pushed thru the lege == while everyone is watching national news. Deciet is rampant.

Most Christians and most conservatives think “school choice” or “vouchers” is a good thing because “it will give us our money back” and “allow poor children to go to private school.” This is false.  If we could take the budget, divide by the number of students, and send it to each one, that would probably be wonderful. That sort of plan is NOT under consideration.

Most vouchers are a small part (like 1-%) is given to those who apply, after a slice is taken for bureacracy of course. Thus, it may defray costs for some middle class people; it will not be enough to provide for tuition for the poor. hen the 90% of what the school might spend on that student if they were in government school, is retained. However, the biggest characteristic is that where Cesear’s money goes, so do the “strings.” Public money grants come with accountability, control.

If one doubts this, check out what happened last time: a very small amount of poor students got some temporary help, while the government schools got a larger budget in the deal, and Democrats screamed that government schools were in danger of being closed, — and that accountability must be included.

This time around, Gov. Abbott is talking about educational savings account. This might be somewhat better, except that it required “accredited schools.” The largest accrediting body of Christian schools is now controlled by Marxist philosopy and requires teaching of LBTQ. See my review of Mindshift on Youtube. At any rate, we will deal with the ESAs and how the Christians in Arizona were very disappointed by it — in an upcoming episode.

Overcoming the PsyOP of Learning Disabilities

Today, we tell you the secret to overcoming the psyop of learning disabilities. As long as you think your child — or you– are DISABLED…. you don’t find the right solution to the problem, you have to depend upon someone else, and some bureaucrat keeps their job. You and others around you are harmed, suppressed, and basically: disabled.

However, if you understand that there is a learning PROBLEM, then you are enabled to find the right solution. School is important. Vocation is vital. You can do it. God created you good. Yes, the world is fallen. Your child was almost certainly injured by a polluted environment, some accident, or some poor educational situation. Fine; I understand. I and my family have had to deal with all of that. However, God is a redeemer — meaning fixing. Beyond that, God is a resurrector — meaning a Doer of the absolutely impossible.

So grab hold of this faith. Get hope to move on. Move on. Get your gold.

In the meantime, join with us for the journey. And let others know. Share both online and in person. Thanks.

Books on Character for Giving this Season

Today, we run a wonderful conversation with Carl Sommer, the owner of Advance Publishing, former public school teacher and Machine Shop owner. Such a wonderful memory of meeting Mr. Somer and his family! Amazing machine shop. Really great contribution in his writing and researching, coming out of being a NY public school teacher. Now, retired from business, he continues to run the publishing house and a TV show on Christian television. You will want to hear his story. Very encouraging.

You may also want to pick up some of his books. Here is the website for Advance: http://advancepublishing.com/ nThese books will be great for Christmas/Hanukah. They are exceptionally great for giving as gifts to public libraries and government schools — who need some replacement books, don’t you think? Each book demonstrates a character moral, but none is overtly religious. Mr. Sommer wrote them especially for elementary level public schools.
