Becky Fischer’s Ideas for Children’s Ministry Will Inspire New Plans

April 23, 2016 Becky Fischer Moms, plan your summer now! Directors of Christian Education and Children’s Pastors will want to start planning next year, now after hearing this interview from 2009. Re-visions children’s ministry.

And next week, we will start a short series on healing, since I see I haven’t talked about that in a while. Please pray for me as I attempt to expand. We need a more professional podcast platform and that means a little money input. We have been many times asked to go to visual and of course that takes a little more money. Already time budget is over-full. Please pray for inspiration, protection, help, and provision. Thanks.

Should You Take Your Children to Sunday School?

GSB Sunday School 160305 . Why you should take your children to Sunday School.

A plug for Sunday School — or Children’s Church, if you prefer.

It was in the 1800s when Sunday School was started in the U.S. and in England. It was controversial. Now it has become very standard. Is it useful? What do you think?

BTW, I will leave the free offer up from last month for this month too. It is an audio modern attempt to make something like the New England Primer. Take a look or a listen. Just select the Free Offers tab. Or write me at P.O. Box 971 Cedar Park, Texas 78613 if you want a CD. Be sure to send your address!

Happy Day!

Thanks to Tom Broadbridge @thekidsbible for sharing this with us.

Children’s programming is something we all too often take for granted. Here is a celebration from Britain of a fellow who founded Sunday School there. Notice how much good it has done, as is well stated in the article. Notice too, that in its time it was controversial.

The Great Shalom Broadcast will be discussing religious education next episode, as we consider loving our children.
