Christianity (or God through Jesus) makes a unique offer. Only here is there a general rule of ethics, good for society, but impossible to keep, and therefore an offer of forgiveness, cleansing, and transformation… with a final judgment.

Some would like to resist the notion of rule of morality, but they end with society in peril. Others would like to have a religion of rules (some better sets than others) but have no way to produce forgiveness and transformation. None seems to have a final judgment that is societal as well as individual.

Anyway, the offer is open now, currently a free offer of forgiveness and life transformation, complete with a community also attempting to live up to the highest standard of self-giving (if they, like you, fail alot). My recommendation is to take it while the offer is still open.
