Yesterday, at a 24 hour “worship music” event, I saw a child with autistic symptoms take his first steps in the grass barefooted. No on coaxed him; he was just ready. Later, he was ready to sing in time and in tune — words not necessary.
I also saw a toddler (tall enough to be 2) who had always been walking with legs spread wide apart, start walking with feet close and parallel — as normal.
Not sure that those around really noticed. Mother saw and maybe she was just overwhelmed. Most everyone else was focused on the music. Grandmother, who had organized the event, when told, now she did understand.
How about you? Do you understand? God inhabits the praise of His people. These children got their measure of healing just playing, but playing in an environment where Jesus was welcome.
