A book is coming on what our policy should be about early childhood education policy. I woke up with a dream last December about this book. Since then, there have been a lot of talk by both political parties about changes in early education policy.

In the process of writing, and life, I found this nice collection of quotations from the United States founders: http://www.liberty1.org/virtue.htm. Clearly the founders thought that morality, grounded in religion (the diversity available to them) was necessary to continue to have a good society. Therefore they wanted education to include the inculcation of virtue.
