Clarity on Governmental Movements for Children

I am overjoyed about some improvements in governmental policy regarding children. I was surprised, however, to read online some news reports that are twisted reporting. Well gosh, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised.

Anyway, since you know that I am working to serve you in terms of helping you with your children’s learning needs, and since you know I have taught college, in Sociology no less, and since you know I have run TWO series on how to tell what is true, I thought I would relay some info for clarity. So, I am putting out the exact words of the White House on 3 issues relating to children. Then, we will post an uncut address by Sec Robert Kennedy. This way, you will not be fooled.

White House Statements on Education Initiative

(Remember when reporters continued to mis-quote Trump, as if he said that Mexicans were all rapists? Remember when they told you we had a pandemic, when acutally we had a death rate in toto for all viral problems of less than 1/1000th?) Okay, so get news from the source when possible. Get context. Get the whole pictures. Then, make a judgment. Rather than start with someone else’s judgment and get weaponized based on a false story. You know that that is exactly their plan, yes?

Change in School Discipline Policy

Fair discipline across all categories seems to be the new policy. If we have government run schools, well, there should be fairness. That is my position.  At the college level, for sure, I have seen lack of fairness such that minority students know they don’t have to do normal things and others are definitely really unsafe.

Improving Accreditation at Higher Education

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/04/reforming-accreditation-to-strengthen-higher-education/

Accreditation ought to tell parents something about the quality of education. When other goals detract from academics, that should not be forced upon everyone based on accreditation. Of course, I think that schools without accreditation must be permitted too.

So, these things seem like an improvement compared to the reverse discrimination that has happened.

Now, here is a third item:

Not so sure about this. I agree with Elon Musk that there must be some law restraints on AI for the safety of humanity.
