“God Wants Total Well-Being for All Children” is my tagline, my slogan, my message. And it is true. Check out Isaiah 54:13:

All your offspring will be taught of the Lord
And great will be their shalom.

Shalom means more than tranquillity; it means wholeness, peace, prosperity, health, success. It means nothing missing, nothing broken. It means total well-being — and more than in a medical sense!

Yes, sure, originally Isaiah was written to Israel/Judah written about in I & II Kings. But we Christians adopt this spiritually. Paul explains it in Romans 9: we are grafted into the promises.

And you, mother (maybe educator) should take it literally. Pray with more assurance and perseverance for that child. Look harder for the answer. Work more confidently. Do not give up. God does want learning success for your child. Yes, and being taught of God brings character and that brings academic success. Proven. By science.

And of course, yes, that is my this broadcast was originally called “The Great Shalom.” The name meant exactly what I describe in the group surrounding me when I started. However, yes, the name did pose some problems. I received online “visits” from Riyad. I assumed that they were looking for something Israeli to bomb or hack. I got calls looking for Messianic groups with which to worship. I knew of none. Ah well. I guess everything today is controversial. I knew that some people who tell students they were trash and parents to give up and leave it to “the professionals.” And that is getting worse. Now attention is on sexual depredation actually within the curricula, the libraries, and the policies.

I am not giving up though. I was given an assignment by God — a God who wants total-being for all children.
