Mothering and Salvation

The problems that mothers feel the most have changed over the years. Back in the 1980s we were tormented that our children were not doing well in school. In the early 2000s, we learned that “learning disabilities” were common. We were then puzzled why we were having so many physiological issues that “no one knew about.” We began to be locked into controversy about whether vaccines caused autism. By the 20 tens we were just overwhelmed by the massive problems our children were having. In the 2020 we are flabberghasted at the problems that society is bringing us. We just hope our children are not raped, mutilated, or alienated from us. We think now that learning problems like “learning disabilities” are largely dealt with. We are exhausted.

The root cause of everything is evil in the world, brokenness of humanity. Wouldn’t it be great if there were one over-arching solution? Good news. There is. We call it salvation. Today, for most people, this word has a strange, religious smell to it. It means rescue! In Central America, there is a beer named “Salvation” because there the refreshing quality of a cold beer could find no better term!  Salvation is rescue, it is refreshing, it is also a total renewal of reality.

As mothers, as grandmothers, as educators, we sure need a resurrection out of decay, dirtiness, and darkness.  Jesus is there. He brought it to us. Came down from heaven to walk among us humans, to offer His Divine Hand.

Hear how this could apply in your child’s life.

Blessings.

Yes, We Believe in Miraculous Healing

Yes, We Believe in Miraculous Healing.  We also believe faith without works is dead.

Let’s consider healing with regard to children learning and being successful.

Dr. Ted Edwards Talks to us about Forgiveness as Vital to Healing

Back when we were on the radio, Dr. Ted Edwards, MD, well known in Austin as a leading physician regarding female hormones and longevity. What is also true is that he was an active Baptist layman. Told me a story about testifying to his (tall steeple) pastor while on a leisure walk.

Today, he talks about forgiveness and the important of such in healing. Holding onto resentment causes people to not heal up. Even can make disease come back.

Not about making sin okay, but about giving it to God, so that we don’t keep hurting. In Greek “forgiveness” is from aphesis, which can be translated either as “remittance of sin” and as “letting it go”   A friend says, “giving it to God.”  That is like “rolling your cares onto Jesus.”

I notice that Dave Asprey on his podcast with Dr. Caroline Leaf said his idea of forgiveness is like choosing not to be quantumly entangled.

Enjoy. Be free.

God Wants Total Well-Being for All Children

“God Wants Total Well-Being for All Children” is my normal outtro line. If God wants total-well-being, then God wants healing for your children. Let’s consider that a little today.

Now, I also say all the time “I believe in healing, and I will take it any way it comes.” This means that I believe in miracles. I pray for miracles. We need miracles. We see miracles. Miracles are instantaneous healings.  But healing can come over time. I will take that. Some times great healing takes place in lives and finances and learning through other graces, like love and wisdom mediate through people. Like maybe God will send someone with a word of wisdom or a talent in innovated education. I will take that too! Any way it comes!

Total bodily health starts with how God made things. So wisdom in living is useful. Even the Bible says that exercise is of some value. I am grateful for what honest researchers can find out and what honest helpers can do. But there are times when we need a breakthrough of God reaching out soveriegnly, I am willing to go after that.

Since we see this fairly often, all the more we should learn how to better go after that, yes? Let’s consider this matter.
